HELLO.100th post by the way LOL.OK seriously there has been a major change to the whole Chalet dates.We really had to make alot of decisions and sorry here is our, well, sort of final one.You should have received in the SMS sent by Samuel (thank you Samuel very much!).The chalet dates will be from the 17th - 18th October which is also on a Friday & Sautrday and the Chalet BBQ will be on 17th of October which is unfortunately a school day. Let me explain why, we have to make that decision first:- The dates for the whole of October is honestly almost booked.
- There is available chalet on 17 18 19, yes, but the problem is if we get the 3 day 2 night chalet, with 18th as our BBQ date, we need to pay $420. 2 day 1 night is only $210.The Committee members (although we have not confirmed the exact people, we have a rough idea) have to sacrifice abit more and that is to rush over right after school to prepare everything. For the CCA people, they have to sacrifice and tahan too! After their CCAs, go home and change and bathe, than go off to the Chalet.If the Chalet really means to you, seeing every of your classmates one last time, than I hope you guys would really make an effort. It was really a very difficult decision for us, with NPCC, Youth Flying Club, NCC.
We were planning to explain more on Thursday, using Ms Poorany's English period.
Each people now, has to pay $15 I'm afraid, sorry for the increase of $5. We really need to have enough to get everything in order.
Please bring $15 on Thursday, please please please.
Right after school, some of the Com members would have to rush over to the Downtown East itself and book! We really need the money ASAP, as we're afraid with further delays it would be too late.Item list is more or less done, but we'll need to confirm more things, before I post it up for you, sorry. --Now, I'll tell you what was our decisions earlier.
We did think of using barbecue pits instead, cheaper, and also we can stay over night.
People's condo's are out, because we'll be dreadfully noisy.
We did think of either:
- Labrador Park
- West coast park
- East coast park
- Pasir Ris
There's problems in each of them, though.
Labrador park is rather empty, it's hard to get there too, to the entrance.
The place is also rather far.
West Coast Park.
It is near, which is good, but the problem is there's no sea, no sand, it's just a park, and it's really rather boring there.
East Coast Park.
It is far, but it has sand and water, everything we can ask for, with loads of convenient sevices there, but it is hard to get there. You have to go to Bedok, go through some blocks, take bus, change bus just to get there. It's in Changi area.
Pasir Ris Park.
Too far, and rather empty with nothing there.
We did plan, if we were to have a barbecue pit instead, we could bring a tent, and big mats. We can put our bags on big mats, and the tent is for the people who're staying over and who are getting abit too sleepy. They can sleep inside there if they want to.
Each people only need to pay about $10 too, and we can put it on almost any dates we want.
Still, it is hard to get the location, which is why we did not go along with it.

Honestly, those are what we can afford to show and present to you now.
I know it's really so difficult to rush over from CCA, you'd feel so tired! We really hope you can make an effort to come.
We are inviting every of our subject teachers to come, it's up to them to see if they can make it. (hopefully they can!)
There will be really no gambling and no liquour, and regardless if there's teachers there, it's still not school right? We would have poker cards game, and sorry but once in a while, whether or not we try to be mindful, some dirty words still might escape our mouths, sorry.
I guess that's all the info I can provide you now.
What do you guys think? Can you come?
PLEASE: Confirm if you're staying over or coming.
Don't keep telling us maybe maybe maybe. We want a CONFIRMED answer.
And note, if you say you are confirmed coming, please don't last minute bail out just because you're lazy or too tired. You say you're coming, you make it, or not 1 person can make a big difference.
We really understand how you'd feel under a CCA, but we hope you can just try to make it.
BBQ on 17th, if you're staying over that's on 18th that we end.
